Happy Holidays from Cherry Lane (2024)
Back to 7 Cherry Lane… again
Following on 2023’s Christmas on Cherry Lane and the 2024 update Season’s Greetings from Cherry Lane, we return again to the central home to get an update on one couple’s story and add in two additional owners’ Christmas tale.
1960
Writer Eli, hairdresser wide Penny and their son are attempting to make a Christmas time capsule, but Eli’s dad is causing strife in the family.
Eventually they include Eli’s mother’s Christmas clock in the galvanized steel box that will be the time capsule to be buried in the backyard of the titular house.
1998
Regina and Nelson return, to tell the story of how they first met. He’s a contractor who winds up stuck at her house during a blizzard and winds up unearthing the backyard time capsule.
2015
Homeowner Jessie is playing host to her sister’s planned wedding in the home, which is to be officiated by Jessie’s high school sweetheart who broke her heart many moons ago… but is this is a case of miscommunication and rekindled love? Of course it is! #hallmark

Once more, was very much a This Is Us style movie. I found this less engaging than the first of the follow-up and didn’t get drawn in to the storylines as much.
You’ll like this if…
You watched This Is Us and like that kind of non-linear storytelling.
