Happiest Christmas App Privacy Policy

Happiest Christmas does not collect or maintain personal information about App users on its own servers. The App does not require an account and does not currently use advertising networks, analytics services, behavioural tracking, cross-app tracking, location services, contact lists, payment information, Apple Sign In, or Google Sign In.

Information stored on your device

The App stores information locally on your device so features such as Watched, Favourites, Watchlist, ratings, reviews or notes, rewatch information, quiz answers, recommendation interactions, Advent calendars, Bingo progress, and App preferences can function. Happiest Christmas does not receive or maintain a server-side copy of this information.

Photos and images

Owner/Editor features may request access to the device Photos library when you choose a feature that requires it. Selected images are processed locally. Happiest Christmas does not upload your personal Photos library or personal photographs to a Happiest Christmas server.

Movie information, artwork and external services

The App displays movie information, reviews, artwork, links and other content. Some metadata and artwork may be obtained from or loaded from external websites and services, including IMDb, Wikipedia, Wikidata, Wikimedia Commons, HappiestChristmas.com, and third-party image-hosting services. These requests may include a movie title, release year, or publicly available webpage or image URL. Happiest Christmas does not send your personal user profile, watched history, favourites, ratings, or other locally stored personal activity to these services.

Sharing

The App lets you share movie information, reviews, Advent progress, Bingo results, and other content through iOS and compatible third-party apps. Sharing is initiated by you. Third-party services are governed by their own privacy policies and terms.

Tracking and advertising

Happiest Christmas does not use the App to track users across other companies' apps or websites. The App does not contain advertising networks or behavioural advertising.

Children's privacy

The App is not designed to collect personal information from children. Because the App does not require an account and does not collect personal information on Happiest Christmas servers, Happiest Christmas does not knowingly maintain personal profiles of children.

Data security, retention and deletion

Information stored for normal App functionality is stored locally on the device. Happiest Christmas does not maintain a central database of App user activity. There is no server-side Happiest Christmas account containing your personal App activity to delete remotely. Locally stored information can be removed by deleting the App and its local data, subject to the operating system's backup or restoration features.

Changes

Happiest Christmas may update this Privacy Policy if the App's functionality or data practices change. The updated version will be posted at `https://www.happiestchristmas.com/app` with a revised last-updated date.
