Tidings for the Season (2025)

Ho hum tidings

She’s a divorced single mom with a son obsessed with becoming a news anchor - suit and all. He’s a career focused news anchor with no time for joy of any kind… until now?

With a meddling (in the best way) producer who wants to challenge his anchor to be more human and less news robot, the kid is brought in for a week as a junior intern. Levity ensues! Sorta.

This one didn’t feel very Christmassy for me - even with some of the usual tropes coming into it with gingerbread cookies and tree decorating. The chances of a career-focused news anchor being offered a chance at a major market opportunity and choosing instead to stay behind for the woman and her son who he met a week prior seems… unlikely?

You’ll like this if…

You enjoy Tamera Mowry - this is fairly typical of her Hallmark fare, though I would suggest watching the Baked With Love series if you’re a fan of hers. Love a good Christmas baking show!
