Something about a rare book the murderer wants?
Very bland whodunit other than the random, fleeting flashbacks to Emily’s former life as a spy (but like, she’s no Sydney Bristow). And a fight scene! In a cemetery! On a Hallmark show! lol
And after 6 hours of middling crime drama set amongst minimal Christmassy environs, we get the two leads in a passionate (for Hallmark) embrace… before ending on a cliffhanger where in the dude finds out that Emily has been leading a double-life.
Who is she, really?
I guess we’ll just have to wait and see next week when Season 2 premieres.
