An Alpine Holiday (2025)

I had to re-read the synopsis to remember what the heck this was supposed to be about.

Sisters in the Alps, fulfilling their grandmother’s final wish? Or something like that?

While many Hallmark movies are saccharine and twee, this was just downright boring and uninspired. I honestly had no inclination to follow what was going on on screen at all, no affection for any of the characters, and even the scenic glamour shots didn’t provide enough of a respite.

And, to make matters worse, it wasn't even Christmassy! Ugh.

From Hallmark:

A grandmother’s last wish brings two estranged sisters Faith and Kelly, back together to travel to the French Alps for Christmas to recreate her first trip there with their grandfather. Facing all the challenges and wonder this unique holiday adventure brings, they learn to cherish their sisterhood above all, while also making room for romance to blossom between Kelly and their French mountaineer guide, Frederic. Starring Ashley Williams, Laci J. Mailey and Julien Samani.

You’ll like this if…

You probably won’t.
