A Christmas Angel Match (2025)

Why is heaven so echoey?

At a super high level, the concept is… ok - Due to budget cuts in Heaven, two Christmas season angel matchmakers (basically cupids) have to team up to complete their annual matchmaking task. The problem? They have wildly different styles and personalities. But will they find their own love match along the way?

When we think of angels, arguably the first assumption is that they’re always kind, so it draws away from angelic personalities to have them clash so much, and especially if we know they’re going to end up together themselves anyway (because… Hallmark).

I really wanted to give these two actors the benefit of the doubt and some grace to turn in something decent, but this one was just goofy - and not in an entertaining, slapstick sort of way, but in a cringey, this is borderline unwatchable. Also seems like this was one of the lower budget entries to the annual Countdown.

Hoping they’re getting one of the less entertaining ones out of the way early, but with Hallmark really cutting back on the number of new movies this year, I question how this one made the list.
